Walk a Mile for a Camel?

Paraphrasing the most awakened man in history is always fun! Jesus said in so many words, "It is easier for a camel to fit through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to achieve the kingdom of heaven."

Churches, in their infinite convenient wisdom, will often take that type of proverb and turn it into a sales pitch for the donation plate, insinuating that Jesus meant that riches are evil, so "leave them all here with us and you will be poor and thus able to reach heaven faster." Ha! How convenient...and how wrong!

What is being said is what we have previously discussed....that by concentrating on the "worldly" side, which is the ego's side of the mind, one ignores the inner light that needs to be accessed in order to return to spirit, the "correct" side of our mind. So the proverb really means, to paraphrase again, "If you concentrate on the world all the time, you are making the dream-world into a reality for you, and you will never even begin to listen to spirit, which beckons you back to the real world, but only if you choose to listen."

I can't tell you how many times I notice that by tuning out the world through forgiveness and "I Love You," the world just becomes such a better place to me. Things go better, people are nicer, I have to compare it again to fixing the projector. So much better than using a Sharpie(TM) on the screen!

Another Projector Repaired!

A very "aware" acquaintance who I have learned a lot from had never heard of the "clearing" we have learned. I introduced her to our "clearing" method. She had some fantastic results which she credits directly to saying "I Love You" over and over to the source inside her mind.
She had been stressing over an upcoming trip....how would she get to the airport? Also, she had investment property that needed to be prepped to be ready to rent but who would do it and where would the money come from? To boot, she had a daughter who never communicated and she had felt badly about the distance between her and this child.
Shortly after learning of the clearing method I teach, she miraculously was approached by someone who would be glad to give her a free ride to the airport. Incredibly, she ran into a handyman who did the entire paint and repair job quickly and well on her investment property for a very reasonable fee. Yes, you guessed it. Her daughter called out of the blue, in tears, wanting to finally let it all out and communicate.
I have paraphrased a bit for this posting, but this new seeker is convinced it is the clearing that brought all this good fortune very quickly into her life. This is an experienced metaphysical woman, but she learned a shortcut to peace and prosperity, and I wanted to share her experiences with all of you.
Persistence is the key.......try mentally saying "I Love You" today as often as you can, while emptying your mind of all past thoughts and future worries. I promise you will be glad you did, and I look forward to your email describing the miracles you will soon be experiencing.

The Inspiration Age is here!

We were all promised such a bright future. Remember the end of the Space Age? At the beginning of the Information Age? I do! Work weeks in the wonderful future would be shorter, because machines would do all the work! Well, work weeks are very short indeed, just ask anyone who is unemployed!

With this wonderful new Age, who would have dreamed that most families would need at least two workers to bring home enough dough to pay the rent?! Treaties like NAFTA and CAFTA have moved jobs out of the USA but brought no new jobs in. Are we better off than our parents' generation? Has all this Information Overload really helped us? It has helped the banks and the government! I won't start down that slippery slope here though!

My point is this.....people are realizing that there "has got to be more!" But it is not "things" they seek, it is something less tangible. But more important. "Things" didn't satisfy anybody, therefore people are turning inward more and more to find the happiness that has eluded them. I propose that finding the inner light is what they need. Our four-step program can accomplish this! In an instant! Never forget, we are not content with future happiness!

Are we having fun......?

A friend wrote after listening to some rather dry cd's about all these metaphysical topics, and wondered aloud "Where is all the fun?" It made me think to say the least. But an answer as usual was found close by. The fun is that in this world, we do not have to perform perfect behavior. Behavior is irrelevant as long as we are forgiving everything we see. The truth, which simply IS, it doesn't need to be "found" or "figured out," is the idea that only spirit actually exists. The Source or Spirit or God, whatever you want to call that which is in you and nowhere else, is very unconcerned with what goes on in our daytime dreams of this earth. As long as you are forgiving everything here, let inspiration guide your actions and you cannot go wrong, and fun is a big part of the "Happy Dream" which is our goal right now, not in some imagined future which doesn't exist and never will. Perfect forgiveness yes, perfect behavior? NO!

Einstein....and You!

Albert Einstein, creator of the Theory of Relativity and e=mc^2, had major problems with the discoveries of quantum physics. He even called non-locality (the property of particles to behave as if they were still together even after being separated)as "Spooky action at a distance." Even the brilliant Einstein wanted things to be found to be the way they had always been assumed to be. He never reconciled this split with his contemporaries.

Wallace D. Wattles, a pioneering thinker of the early 20th century and author of "The Science of Getting Rich," also recognized this "spooky" action, but he merely called it "Thinking Stuff" that "fills every part of the universe."

I hereby propose that we can reconcile all this weird particle behavior and freakiness that even freaked out Einstein with the simple premise put forth in A Course in Miracles: that "all our time is spent in dreaming." That our waking mind is merely asleep on another level, and the real "us" is safe at home all the while we experience this dream/nightmare/trip.

Giving thanks, and Short Term vs Long Term

Upon this day of Thanks, I would like to give thanks to everyone I have met and everyone I will meet. Without each other, how would we ever practice forgiveness?

Speaking of forgiveness, I consider that the "Long Term" exercise we are working on, and it is not as immediate or "Short Term" as the clearing we should do all day long. Memories, or stuck shared programs from the past that drag us all around the "River Wild" known as life never take a vacation! Why should our clearing ever stop? Miracles big and small are occuring every day for those of us who remember when the battle is raging to pause and observe our thoughts, occupy the present moment, and repeat all day long "I Love You" to the same source within us all. Do this all day long, and I challenge you to NOT see miracles occur on the screen in front of you all day long!

Perfection all around us

The way you react to the world on the screen "out there" directly affects how you feel, and how much peace is in your mind. How would you react to anything if you believed it was perfect? Wallace D Wattles in The Science of Being Great profers the thought that "the world and everything and everyone in it is perfect, just incomplete."
Each time you see another today, one whom we learned a while back after all was invited into your world by you, think of that person (or situation or event) as perfect though incomplete. Remember our "modified Golden Rule" states that how you treat others you treat yourself. Now following that thought process, we will be concluding today that we are perfect, though incomplete.
Try this thinking today, and see if it doesn't make you feel lighter and closer to the source.

Level Confusion and Skepticism

Spirit, the Source, whatever we decide to call divinity, does not act in this world. A common mistake is to believe that the spirit works in the world, giving us parking spaces when we need them on Christmas Eve and things like that. Comforting to remember though is that everything we experience in the world is a direct reflection of our mind. When we start to let spirit rule our thoughts rather than the ego, our base ideas at the core of our mind begin to loosen up. This in turn, like the analogy of the projector, causes our "world" view and all the people and things in it to "act" in a kinder, friendlier, wealthier way so to speak.

You do not have to believe this to practice it, to experience miracles. Doubt and skepticism are normal, we all have this resistance. Simply practice the four fundamental exercises we have learned, and see what happens. The doubt you need to remember is any small doubt you may have by now that the world DOES NOT work the way you always thought it did. Just this little doubt in that direction will pry open the door of the dark room and allow the light to begin to shine.

Big little tip for an easy day!

I run into a basic problem every day and I would wager you do too. The problem that overrides everything is the tendency to forget that the inner world and the outer world are one. The outer world that we see, hear, taste, smell and touch is a projection of our mind. Want to know a quick little way to fix the misperception all day long? Remember to be extra kind to EVERYONE you see or come into contact with, because, and this is the tidbit that puts it all into place, YOU INVITED THEM! Just remember all day today that you invited that person to call, stop by, honk at you, flip you off, etc. They are all YOUR guests in YOUR world. Try this and see if it doesn't make for one heck of an easy day! (Adapted from A Course in Miracles)

A Quick way to Nothing

Try this the next time the world weighs on you. Sit quietly and say to yourself "I wonder what my next thought will be." The time before the thought arrives is a time of quietness, and your mind is at inner peace, in other words a time without thought. When a thought comes, you have just lowered your level of consciousness and are back in your normal unconscious state.

I have been working too much!

Work has taken over lately, but I look forward to my trips back to the source all day long! It revives me when I can connect in the silence for a few minutes. "Nothing real can be threatened, nothing unreal exists."

News! A new idea that may help!

One of our illustrious attendees has "modified" our statement, they are using "I Love You" plus "Thank You," sort of a hybrid! Let's see if that works even faster and better!

More books!

Here are a few more great books, I would add to that list "The Power of Awareness," also by Neville.

Loving What Is Byron Katie
Awakened Imagination Neville
The Science of Mind Ernest Holmes

Recommended Reading

Some books to go into depth with, these should be on everybody's nightstand!

The Power of Now, Eckhart Tolle
Zero Limits, Joe Vitale
The Disappearance of the Universe, Gary Renard

These three alone, if learned, will move you to a completely new level!

Welcome and I look forward to seeing you soon!

I will be hosting a free seminar for you on Thursday May 21st, 6:30 PM at Cal Northern School of Law.

This seminar will show you four major exercises that you can do to actually solve problems, increase business, clarify relationships and generally get you to a more peaceful and happy state of mind. I have spent years studying various methods and these have boiled down as the cream of the crop, guaranteed to help in just a short time after you put them into practice.

The only catch to this free seminar is that I want to meet with you a few weeks from now and discuss how you are doing and how the things you have learned have helped you.

Please feel free to bring family or friends, RSVP whether you can attend! I can't wait to see you in a context that is not in any way related to filing taxes!
